Glen Burgess brings over 15 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, with a diverse background that includes Personal Training, Group Training, Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), and Fitness Education. Originally pursuing a career in musical theatre, film, and television, Glen’s path shifted after sustaining a back injury. This personal challenge sparked his passion for understanding injury recovery and helping others regain their strength and mobility.
Glen’s journey through his own rehabilitation led him to discover Fascial Stretch Therapy, which has become a key part of his practice. A lifelong mover, Glen is passionate about all things movement-based—from dance and sports to endurance training. He has completed two marathons, three half-marathons, the Disney Dopey Challenge, two sprint triathlons, and one Olympic-distance triathlon. While injuries may occasionally slow him down, they never stop him from doing what he loves.
Now a Registered Massage Therapist, Glen continues to build on his extensive background. He integrates techniques such as joint traction, joint mobilization, and connective tissue therapy—the foundation of Stretch Therapy—into his treatment plans. He is also expanding his modalities to include kinesiology taping, cupping, and Graston techniques, aiming to support a broader range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Glen has helped numerous clients manage and recover from issues involving the lower back, neck, hips, shoulders, knees, and other major joints—focusing on both injury prevention and functional restoration.
